Anyone play with or have any first hand knowledge of fury cues? Especially their jump/break cues?

My opinion

I have had at least a half dozen Fury cues over the years. I have alway been very satisfied with the quality and finish of these production cues. If you are in the market for one I would not hesitiate to buy a Fury Cue.
 
give this enough time and john will see it... dont worry railfirst..anything you wont to know about fury will be answered as soon as Barton get here.

I bought a J/B last fall and like it a lot. It has a solid hit when breaking and I have no problem jumping with it.

You really can't go wrong for the price.
 
I haven't owned any other cue from Fury but a jump/break cue. It breaks the balls really well with good control. I recommend it for the price. But there are several things that I feel could be better: first being the shaft. Mine in particular looks and feels like a cuetec that has had sandpaper used on it. I bought the cue new so I know it hasn't been abused. Second, is the leather wrap. It is coming apart at the seam and is becoming a nuisance to me. The third thing is that it is warped as hell. I haven't had many jump/breaks so I don't really know if this happens often or not. Maybe this is a standard for break cues in general due to the amount of force applied to them.

This is only MY opinion! If I were going to purchase a jump/break that would last a lifetime I would probably get a Gulassy. They are about 250% of the price of a Fury but I believe it would be well worth it. If you are looking for a the top of the line jump/break in the $150 range then a Fury would serve you best. JMHO
 
I just received my Gulyassy this past Friday (and I love it!). I was using a Fury JBBS. My Fury was really good to me, and as someone stated previously, for the price you can't beat it. The only thing I didn't like is how it held chalk. I had to use blue Masters chalk. Anything else just wouldn't stick.
 
I have been using a Fury jump-break since they were first introduced and have had no problems at all. I also shoot with a Fury RP series cue I have had for about 5 years. Very good quality and value with both of them.

I guess everyone is different.:) I actually feel the Fury tip holds chalk better than canvas phenolic.

Fury has proven itself in combat, the current Masse World records were set with a Fury RP-5 cue. The only thing I changed on the cue was the tip. (Sniper)

The Fury j/b cue can rival any other j/b in the world.

I have absolutly nothing to gain from talking up this brand of cue's.

I have switched brands, but I will always remember how the Fury cue helped me back when I played.
