Oh, the irony. Gamblers don't smoke because it's a lack of self control.

Irony? Not sure why you'd think that.

This thread is about the dangers of second hand cigarette smoke, something Fusco's The Spot makes no attempt to warn their customers of - which might counter the intent of the clean air act.

Are you saying smoking and gambling should be mutually exclusive?

FUSCO'S THE SPOT JUST SET UP MOUSE TRAPS . we are looking for none smoking little rodents that like running there mouth and have no idea about pool. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH

PETE FUSCO A LEGEND = THE SPOT A GREAT PLACE TO PLAY POOL AND YES SMOKING IS ALLOWED. SO COME AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Shouldn't you be in school? ;)

Are you refering to MY addiction and denial? or just the smoking in our room situation.

and what is it i alluded to?

Hi Tronpocket, I mean addiction/denial insofar as smokers wanting non smokers to believe there is no danger going to Fusco's The Spot where smoking is allowed.

Post #228 underscores the effect of second hand cigarette smoke, where a smoker may not have the urge to smoke when surrounded by second hand cigarette smoke.

Sorry if my post was unclear.

he's just blowin smoke

The real deal is I bet everyones heart in that pool room is stronger than mousy's. Bad idea sniveling bout it on forum, I bet there are many players in that room - who's game he cannot handle. His ego creates the excuse so it can be protected. I agree with you on this phillyviper1. If a customer does not want to patron an establishment - then he just does not return. Plus there is always an option for a table at his house and not complain or look for excuses - however he will probly' find them there too. Low ceiling pool room's are more of a problem when dealing with smoke, 25' ceilings with smoke eaters is a plus. He should bring some fruity perfume, that might keep the wolves away hu Pool Mouse. There is neuroscience info that would back up my theory about him looking for an excuse to not lose his dough in that place. A person is only as healthy as they think they are, I would bet he is practicing what george c scott talked about in the hustler (a sport enjoyed by all).

Ahh, Cliff Clavin will now edgu-ma-cate us on neuroscience, based on his colorful past, let's go ahead and open that can of worms. ;)

By the way, I don't gamble - although I don't mind watching people who do.

. Thank you Poolmouse for taking on the dangers of second hand cigarette smoke in Fusco's,
It is scientific inquiry like yours that makes our lives better

I agree that if they sell food there should be a section for no smoking but the bottom line is revenue. It's like the seatbelt law - good idea but a bad law. Good idea to not smoke - bad idea to close many rooms and hurt revenue making everyone go outside to smoke.

I think you have been called out?
Drexeline or spot are within striking distance of zuglans josh or a hop away from Drexeline in April for the super billiard expo in Oaks Pa.
respect to both you and vinny!

pool rooms

Now you're being sensible. :) But let's be fair, do you really think smokers having to go out for a smoke will leave?

Yes they have and will, it makes sense to me that you do not gamble also. There was a player that reminded me a little of you pool mouse, only this poor soul did gamble. Once the other player started to bring the heat on the table he would complain about there being possibly some asbestos in the ceiling. But the cigarette smoke was his most common complaint - when he started to get nervous.
