FUTURE of POOL (CSI and Pool Room Owners)

If it is true that future CSI tournaments will be played on 3 1/2 x 7 foot tables (possibly 2 1/2 x 5 or 3 x 6) and pool owners are moving in the same direction, why not just use Simonis cue tips? If we can eliminate the need for chalk (and jump cues and cue extensions) by making pool tables smaller, why not? It sure makes sense to be cost effective in every way.

How many times are you going to post the same thing or start a thread basically on the same subject?

How about you just take up knitting?

Maybe watch a chick flick and get some of that crying out of your system.

You could always start your own tournament since you already know so much about them.

Knitting vs. Ball Banging

Already tried knitting, but would rather bang balls.

Like Nerf tables?

The Big table and the 7 footer arent going anywhere. 7 footers are more common across the country in bars, homes, and poolhalls combined where 9 footers are mainly just poolhalls (and some homes).

The future of pool will be on the box and big table combined. Neither are going anywhere.

Also, how would making the table smaller eliminate the need for chalk? You are still going to need to hit off center to get position regardless of the size of the table.

What the hell is a 5 footer?
