For Heavens sake I sure hope not. It is bad enough I have to play most league play on a bar boxes.

Played on one and wasn't too impressed. This barbox player did fine. Most people like to pretend that they're so much better on a 7' table when they're really not.
I play with one guy, a serious A player, who just loves playing pool. He doesn't care what size table as long as it's good equipment. We always play on 9 foot GC's. About two weeks before the Expo we go to a local room that has 7 foot Diamonds to prep for the Expo. He loves it. Says it's so easy to run out on. He runs out on the 9 footers too. LOL
Pool tables, pool players, and this game will only continue to grow and flourish.....outside of this country because they don't have the cry babies like we have in this country.....that expect the world but offer nothing to pay for it!

We have them in the UK!
5 foot tables are incredibly rare, but occasionally a pub has them if there is very limited space.
6 foot tables are also fairly rare, but significantly more common than 5 footers.
7 footers are by far the most common table size.
Thats all for English pool of course, US tables can only really be found in dedicated pool clubs, its very rare to see them in bars.
The point being, that they offer bar owners an extra revenue stream with limited space, so for them it makes sense!
And 8" wide pockets?

What's wrong with jump cues and extensions? Can you not use either of them? Practice as much as you can. You will get the hang of it. I will practice for a couple hours on just jumping when I need to polish up..... The extension..... well I just like the longer cue...

When I was very young. Back in the Early 70s my dad bought a 6 foot Brunswick bar table from a local bar He recovered it and triple shimmed the pockets and we had it in our basement for many years. It still had the coin slide and box. He had it rigged to just push it in and pull it out without coins to release the balls. It has been a long time since then but that was among my first memories of pool.
Personally, I would really like to see more 10 foot tables or even pool style cushions on a 12 x 6. Based on the fact the USA seems to be at a disadvantage playing against snooker players it might have something to do with the fact Snooker players are used to smaller pockets and balls on a larger table with slow cloth.

They already exist. With real balls. And I'm not talking silly Fisher Price tables.
there were some 3 x 6' tables (IRVING KAYES?) around Chi in the early 60's
iirc one was at the "CASA MADRID" and another at the "STARDUST LOUNGE", i'm sure there were others
small pockets, lively rails and a HUGE Qball which was eligible to travel 3" or 3' if you were brave enough to draw it
