Black G10 pins- I have a few ideas, but wondering what the best way of polishing the raw pins is? When raw they are rough and not completely black. I've seen them polished up and they looked pretty nice. I make some of My own stainless pins, I center drill, turn end of the threads or bullnose, and have no problems polishing those, but I have yet to use G10 pins, and don't want to overwork the pin while polishing, and create a looser fitting joint or anything like that, so I'm looking for whatever advice I can get. I got 3/8-16 to start with, and ordered one of the new taps from atlas with the fluted pilot. I'm hoping to keep a snug fit. Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks, Greg
