I'm actually looking to spend less than $18 per pin. I wonder if prather would happen to have any lying around that they would want to get rid of. Does anybody here have any that they would like to unload? I don't care what color they are and would be open to a different thread pattern if I have to. Thanks!
They cost what they cost. Why would you choose this area to go 'on the cheap'?
It's my understanding that making 'pens' is a little less expensive.
If you're going to build cues though, do it right or don't do it at all.
The world has enough 'cheap'.
Actually, I'm also looking to spend less than $18 a pin as well. If you can find them cheaper, please let the rest of us know so we can stock up as well.
As Uncle Whimpy would say. "I'd gladly pay you tomorrow for a hamburger eaten today".
I'm not looking to skimp on the quality of the pins. But, I have never tried using one of these pins and am looking to see if it is something that I will want to use from now on. Lets just call this a trial run
Close Dave but actually it's 25 pin unless he might have some extras laying around. I ordered a 2nd set of carbide sanding mandrels and wanted 10 of the pins and was told that he had a 25 pin minimum. He said that when he sent the mandrels if he had any extras he would let me have them and charge accordingly. When the package came there was 4 pins. I only use them when I need to lighten up the cue some and since I'm getting old and won't be making many more cues so figured I couldn't use 25 pins but now I'm down to only one left out of the four and may have to bite the bullet so to say.
