Ga-Young Kim Formally Banned In Taiwan

Politics have always been around in the world of professional sports. Remember the USA vs. USSR in 1980, or the ping-pong politics of 1971?

We will be glad to take the charasmatic and fun Miss Kim here in the States. My current odds based on almost nothing as to where she will make her US base of operations

LA 6-5

San Diego 3-1

Denver 5-1

NYC 8-1

Florida 10-1

other 20-1

Ga Young will be in Denver with her pal Melissa Little on February 16th. The lady is a fantastic player and very approachable in person. Wish her all the best.

Hopefully, it will be LA. That way Tate can practice with her and we'll see the match here on the forum through Youtoube the same evening.

Really??? Where'd you learn of this? Do you know where they'll be playing?

They'll be playing at Wynkoop Billiards in the Mile High City on Friday, the 16th.

If she is in town on Thursday evening, I would also expect Ga Young will play in the weekly tournament at Paradise Billiards. She has played there in the past and the regular weekly competition is always very tough.

The lady is world class and amazing to watch. Check out cuetimes.com for the article.

Yeah I always expect to see Melissa and Mark at Paradise on thursdays. I wonder how long Ga Young will be hanging around. I'd like to see her play the one hole tournament at table steaks.

Just read the article. Guess it's only a one day thing. Too bad, I wanted to play her some too.
