I didn't make it to the match but I just got an update from ironman.

It's a race to 8 for 3K.

Sylver ran 8 and out the first game.

Gabe won the next three games.

In the current game, Gabe needs 1 and Sylver needs 3.

I'll check in later with another update.

They have been playing since about 12;30 and it started out with Sylver running 8-0 the first game making 3 combinations. An impressiver out.

Then Gabe just outwaited him the 2nd and 3rd game taking a 3-0 lead. Then Gabe made a ball on the break and ran 8 and out in just a couple of minutes.

Sylver has fight in him and now has battled back to make the score 5-5 in a race to 8.

This has been some great 1-pocket as the table is real tight, slow, and very tricky. Gabe can't get a bank to fall for his life.

Both have displayed some incredible moves. Gabe plays the game and never studies long. Sylver plays so smart for such a youngster.

Both are well behaved as there has been hardly a word exchanged and only brief breaks.

Will post more in a few minutes or as the score moves.

The score is now 6-5 Gabe with Game breaking. ASylver just lost a heartbreaker as each player is really bearing down now.

Gabe is on the hill finding a dead ball from the end rail and firing it aat warp speed.On the hill the balls are in a real cluster with both playing real cautious.

This match will appear on the movie Pool hall Master produced by Joe Santos of San Antonio.

It's over with Gabe winning 8-5, but trust me it was closer than that. Sylver played real well and gave him all he wanted. It's one of those matches where you get caught rooting for the guy shooting.

Gabe is a happy guy.

I'm outta here.

No talk yet. The id handled it well. Make no mistake, Sylver has plenty of heart and talent, plus he is a first class young man. You WILL hear more about this Kid.

Ironman, do you feel that the laser rack is any better than just having a black line drawn across the foot string, as well as from the foot spot to the center of the foot rail? If so, why?

You guys are hilarious. :grin: Sounds like you had alot of fun. I'm confident everyone involved displayed all of their talents so well that this movie will be a sure hit for the bigscreen!

Gabe was probably just happy enough to have redeemed himself from his losing match last week. :bash:

Talents were displayed and they behaved like perfect gentleman. They hardly even spoke through the whole match.

I warned Gabe that i was going to post this and that MOM would see it and probably cal to put "the bite on him". As usual, he laughed at me.

Seriously, it was a lot of fun and all 40-50 watching rally had fun. You would have been proud.
