It's my guess that it could play pretty well :grin:

I think the playability has alot to do with the shaft taper and the balancing of the various parts of the cue.....maybe Monto could give us a little more insight -- the taper on this shaft looks to be about the same as the other playing cue in the pics!?

I've had several J/B cues that all played very well :grin-square:

Also, I'm curious if this is a laminated shaft and, what type of tip is being used??

I can sure gaurantee u that this can be one hell of a playing cue,Infact i have use this as my playing cue for 2 months,though i just put another 3x8/10 shaft on it though.You can get kevin to make an extra shaft for this.I think the butt taper of most of kevin's cues is same for playing and j/b's.

This cue has gaboon ebony and purpleheart this has to hit sweet.:thumbup:

IMO the cue does not miss slightest of feel having an extra joint.just keep the joint tight and u won even know it.:thumbup:
