This is an eleven meg file but it looks very sharp when printed on a simple desktop color printer. You should set the page size to 8 1/2 x 14 and of course, use that size paper.

Bring it to your local poolroom, place it on the wall and help support this BIG MONEY pool tournament for players of all skill levels and disciplines.

If you want a super hi-res print, you can send the file to Kinkos and they will print it on your choice of paper with one of their hi-res color laser printers.
The APA and BCA leagues and the rest of the leagues should print this out and put a copy in their league player's envelopes. http://fedex.com/ca_english/

The file can be downloaded at http://www.theworldclassic.com/regforms/GWC-print.pdf

Thanks,

Joey you seam connected.... Question???? Are they going to promote this event in the Houston area media???? This seams like a dumb question but the only pool tournament that has ever appeared on the radio or in the paper is an annual 8 ball tournament put on by a local sports radio station that isn't even open to pros. The Houston Open, Fast Eddies tour, Bogies and Caspers have never run an advertisement that I have noticed in almost 6 years of living in Houston. Many tournaments have a "promotion company" What exactly do they do? If I were promoting it I would try to contact John Mcclain from the Houston Chronicle and I would call in to all the sports talk radio shows. There are many area ad papers that promote shows, festivals and sports. I have never seen a pool tournament ad in any of them.

I called once to sports radio 610 and they loved to hear me talk pool and seamed interested about the tournament.

Just wandering...

I may seem connected but my main connection is the connection of my grandfather who was the only surviving member of our entire family during the Great Hurricane of 1900

I do know though that the promoters are "connected" to the Houston Chronicle in some particular way and I would surmise that something will done with the newspaper.

We all have local Sports Radio stations in our home town and they all like to talk about sports other than the traditional discussed stuff.

AZBers should take a clue from you and call in to your LOCAL radio sports stations and share some good information with the sports broadcasters. They are all sports junkies and will eat up a good story about pool.

We should make a thread about our efforts to talk on our respective talk radio shows about pool. Who knows, it might get some free advertising for pool. The local league operators should be doing that already.......

Anyway, thanks for the heads-up about what you've been doing.

Hope to see and meet you at the Galveston Tournament.
