Galveston tournament? Info

I was under the impression that after the disaster that was last year that Galveston was dead.

Thanks , what a shame, I was hoping it would be like the Derby City 1 of those per month would be great !

That's just funny. A lot of other events had already been planned during last year's event, which wasn't publicized far enough in advance, or loudly enough (in my opinion). A lot of the folks who had already made plans to attend other events said they'd let it go for a year and find out how well things went with it. Then, if it went well, they'd see about going this year. We were some of those folks who had planned to go, this year. Oh well. We'd rather something be closer, like Dallas, or Tulsa, or Shreveport, anyway. It would be nice to KNOW we can attend a major event, due to the more local proximity, for once.

I guess this is one event we can scratch off our list, while we hope for another to pop up even closer.

Kudos --- BIG KUDOS --- to anyone who puts together something as big, or at least nearly as big as the Super Billiards Expo in the Central region of the country... AR, OK, KS, MO, Northern LA / TX area. If anyone does this, be sure to give us a holler and let us know!!!
