Garage room pics requested...

Here's mine. My house was built in 1930 and the detached garage is only 18'x18' which requires a short cue for rail shots off the short rails of my 9 footer. Those shots don't come up too often and it sure beats paying table time!

I like it. That's a garage. Nice table too.

A slight little lingering vintage gasoline, oil and grease background smell really makes a garage a garage.

thanks for posting your pictures-nice set up.

garage converted into a back porch and later converted again into a gameroom
this belongs to the fellow across street

Nice Perk! I noticed there are tiles(?) Under the feet of the table? Do those help the table stay level?

Also I see you are an APA 5, 8 ball or 9 ball? :)

My table has issues with the legs and the person who put it together didnt do a good job. As far as the rating, thats just a guess :)

Thanks! It works for me and my friends don't seem to mind either. The only thing they ***** about from time to time is the pocket size.

All these are giving me good ideas! I totally dig the old gas pumps and I'm really wanting the tight pockets too....

It's 24' x 24' and insulated. I use a small window air conditioner which takes about an hour to cool it down to comfortable when it's over 90F. I use two electric heaters which take about 2 hours to heat it up to comfortable when it's around freezing or slightly below and an hour if it's around 50F. We don't get the very cold and very hot up here too often. I put the carpet down first, then moved the tables onto it. Then I lifted it up and installed the padding underneath around the tables. I had the pool table in the garage attached to the house before I built this new one for the pool room. If you keep your storage above and below cuing level (& under the table), you can still have quite a bit of stuff in there. I built a bench seat along one wall with a hinged top so I could store stuff in there and put shelves up around eye level. Good luck with your project!

Bsmutz, that is a great room! I see how the carpet and padding can work. I like the idea of a bench with storage!

Great job
