Thinking about buying a table. There is a GC1 and GC4 for sale in my area. My question is, assuming both are in good condition and priced at 1500 for the 1 and 2000 for the 4, which one would you purchase? I did do some research and understand that the gc1 may have brunstone instead of slate and the gc4s have some sagging problems. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

No sagging on my GC4. 1500 is way too high for a GC1 unless it's been recalibrated and new cushions installed. Offer 1500 for the GC4, it's a better table imo
Might wanna search using google, or by resorting the forum by most replies?

I'm looking to upgrade from the 7ft valley I currently have. I like these tables and it's time to get real. Also like the diamond tables but never see them for sale. Thanks for your help !
GCIV End Sag Fix
The GCIV has a much better subframe, pockets are bigger, trim on pocket is lowered, adjustable feet. Lousy finish on pocket castings but vein or textured powder coat solves that.
CGI is a classy looking table if all the trim is there. I have read the the II's are better then the I's.
Easy fix on the GC IV end sag.
All GCIV owners need to do this BEFORE the problem shows up.

I really love my Gold Crown 4. Either table will make you a happy camper. I much prefer the Brunswick product over the Diamond tables. For this reason I have the Gold Crown 4.
