Need info on rebuilding rails for our 5 x 10 snooker table. We have a complete commercial equipment woodworking/machine shop and lots of experience on operating it but the rails are a new project to try. Looking for books, DVD's or contacts on what wood, glue, fasteners, sealers, as well as sizes to cut to. Willing to build jigs/fixtures for this project since we have seven more GCII pool tables playing in our room each of which has hosted many staples over the forty four years our room has been open. Don't forget to send info on what not to do also....I didn't just celebrate my 84th birthday without having made any fancy firewood LOL. Thanks Ken Ken..email qspot@tulsacoxmail.com or phone 918-779-6204

Everything is posted in this forum at one point or another. The search function works great.

Take the measurements of the sub-rail.....cut the sub-rail off and and put it back on.
Just finished 10' snooker table....didn't download pics yet.
I do a complete sub-rail change, and also change the rail bolt and casting inserts.
You will need the right specs for the sub-rails...call me and I'll give you some info.
I would also like to do the job, if you change your mind on doing the job yourself.
