It all depends on the details you want. It can take from a week to a month, I have done some wood ones that take up 2 months.

Much depends on how many are ahead of you, if the materials are on hand, lots of factors. I lucked out when I ordered my Justis 3X6...didn't take long at all. However, if it had taken longer because of production or materials problems, I like to think I would have been understanding. After all, a case isn't a "must have" item...

Not being very technically gifted, I really could have asked the same question about cues. Its a bit of a mystery to me how cues, for instance, are assembled - glue and dowels??. Similarly with a high quality case, the process and skill required is very interesting.
