Exactly, how does the 2200.00 machine come equipped compared to the 1850.00 machine. Does it come with steppers?, a control box with drivers and such? After receiving the machine, what will I need to add to make it work? I'm sure it will need a spindle and probably a computer, CNC software, and of coarse cad/cam.
How late today have I before the sale ends?

So, how do I go about ordering the 18X48 mini with the extra part for running a 4th axis and the total cost with shipping and tolls coming from Canada? When can I expect it and when and how do I pay? You've got my nose open now and I'm getting anxious.

The Mini Raptor 18 x 48 is overkill. I own an Alignrite and it only has about 8 inches of "Y" travel. My vacuum table is only 4 x 20 and I never use 1/2 of it for cutting inlays. Most inlay material is 2 to 4 inches wide. Might see more use for "Y" axis width if material for inlays was in 12 inch width sheets but with most woods and ivory will never see that.
Could set up Mini-Raptor with 2 heads and get double the production since the "Y" has over 17 inches of travel. Could then do 2 tapers at once or set it up with 2-4th axis to inlay 2 cues at once or even cut 2 sets of inlays. The only additional cost would be the 4th axis, another motor for turning and additional spindle. Don't know what George would charge for extra larger "Z" that holds 2 spindles.
Mounting plate for more than one spindle is not a problem . i will have shortly 4th axis for 2 to 4 cues at a time. It will be a little less heavy duty to the single 4th axis but just as accurate . For pool cues or anything for pool cues from what i have been told by a few makers is 12.5 inch travel is more than needed.
George, e-mail me your paypal address? It would be better if you called me. oh! I just got my phone out of my pocket and I see where you did call me an hour or so ago. Sorry.
