I agree... I have taken up guitar over the last few years and I practice every day just like I used to practice pool. I still have my pool table but rarely play. I am a member of numerous guitar forums and they also rehash the same old crap. It's hard for topics to remain fresh. I think AZ Billiards has too many sub forums. It spreads things too thin. It's time to consolidate and stimulate the conversation.Traffic is down and a lot of threads are just rehashing old crap. that's the main reason why I took a break.

PS..I also agree, the forum needs a little stimulation !..Same feuds, same people, same subjects, (yawn) not enough humor !![]()

I think it is the new arugula!
This thread about the death of azb has brought out a lot of good comments. I'm Amazed it didn't devolve into the typical dead horse beating argument thread. Hope for us yet
As I write this, 10:45 am on Sunday, there are still posts from yesterday at 3pm here on page 1.
It seems to me that traffic on az is way down.
Am I figuring this wrong?
I've been reading how some key posters have been migrating away to facebook, maybe this is what's siphoning posters away.
Whatever it is, I don't like it.
I'm sitting here with my Sunday cup of coffee looking to catch up on what's new but I quickly ran into yesterday's topics.
Is there anything we can do to fix it?
I would sincerely love for AZ to remain the go-to destination on the web for everything to do with pool.
Are people going to an AZ Facebook page to interact there, instead?
l don't use facebook much.
best,
brian kc
What I have noticed is that there are a few For Sale facebook pages. Now there are issues in one of them, with bickering andch, so much so the admin is using the ban hammer. A lot of irony there being on who's group it is. We started a Premium Cue Area that is doing well.
I and others asked for some other sub forums and I truly believe that a sub forum with more categorization would have definitely solved the bumping problem and would have kept the FS section as the place for posting.
With a premium cue area, we are not experiencing the bumpatude that goes on when your product is driven to the backpage by a plethora of other products.
Its still my opinion that the FS sections should have been Custom Cues - Production Cues - Low D products - Custom Cases - Production Cases - Vintage Items - Books - videos - apparel - Misc... with the old rules this would have been more than sufficient to solve the over indulgency of the bump.

Actually no. Turmeric is very effective and has been proven to be so through peer reviewed studies.
Dude.
Your beating a dead horse. :deadhorse:
Perhaps we can pan sear the some horse loin with some tumeric, sea salt and cracked black pepper served with a side salad of French sorrel and pear with a vinaigrette dressing?
PS, we need to replant some holy basil, we missed having it in our garden last year...
