Guys I am spending a week or so in 30281, Stockbridge, GA, basically SOUTH ATLANTA, and haven't seen a poolroom yet. We passed what looked like a converted pizza hut with some bar boxes, my brother said it's a dive.

Help! Where can I play?

Hoping for some tight 9 footers to practice on.

Thanks.

Tech Rec at Georgia Tech is open to the Public. Located in the Student Center.

Twains is located in Decatur off of Est Trinity.

Mr. Cue II off of Chamblee Tucker Rd.

Buford Highway is loaded with Asian pool halls

Hope this helps

It's quite a drive from Stockbridge, and traffic will suck during rush hours, but Mr. Cues II is probably your best bet.

There used to be a place in Jonesboro/Fayetteville (can't remember which) that was ok. Old National Highway, I think. However, they may be closed.

if you're on the south side you can always go to the south east side of the city. get on 285 and head to 20 east go a few exits and get in off in conyers. classic billiards is there. all nice diamond 9ft and smart tables. they have one of the most brutal 9ft tables i have ever seen. it's TIGHT. mark gregory does the table set up so they play good. the other option is to go to the top end of 285 and play cues. great room, planty of 9 and 8ft gold crowns. one gold crown tournament edition that plays pretty tight. those are the two rooms i have played in and can comment on. monica webb and helena thornfeldt have a room in villa rica which is on the south west side of the city pretty much going the opposite of conyers. again diamond tables but i haven't been there so i don't know exactly what's there.

thanks for the help guys.

I ended up stranded at home with no car, so didn't get to check out the better rooms, but I will next time.

I ended up knocking some around on a bar table for an hour just to get out of the house. It sucked, I left.
