There was a thread on the forum that involved a poor Azbilliard's member who had his cues lost or stollen while taking a flight on an airplane with a major Airline. I posted my comments on that thread but i dont think it hit hard enough for my liking, so i started a new thread. I really wish that we as pool players had an organization when something like this happned we could turn to and they would rally behind its members. The BCA has been a organization that when i was younger and comming up playing pool was like whispering the name of an angel when you said BCA. I would gladly pay a membership fee to an organization that would have come to the azbilliard member who is out of $5500 dollars worth of cues. The airline is giving him the run around and trying not to cover his damages. I know there are some respected BCA instructors on the forum, i would love to hear their input. I read in my Inside Pool Magazine that a new gentleman in heading the BCA now and he wrote an article in Inside Pool saying he wants to change the direction the BCA is going and restoring is foothold as a leading represenative of pool players..This is great example of how organization like the BCA can help it members and give back to people who love the sport they represent...if the BCA does do things like this already then forgive my Ignorance and send me a membership packet...cause i will put my name on the dotted line for any organzation that would represent me as a pool player
