I have to say that i agree that ivorys days are numbered. there is no real use to add ivory to a cue except for those cue makers who have a market for that type of cue. All I know is I can agree there will be fewer and fewer buyers for these mega ivory cues in the years ahead especially with all the restrictions and uncertainties. I do not want to own any but hey thats me. There is a large grey cloud hanging over anything associated with ivory so why risk it.

I guess 'some of you' didn't work 'hard enough' on the issue and lost 'the fight'. Additionally, I guess your groups "goal" to "prevent this unfair and unreasonable proposed regulation" failed as well. Do you really think you'll be able to overturn Obama's administration's total disregard of laws and procedure! (that was a statement and not a question).

I guess the time has "drawn closer" because you can't get any closer than the day the ban was enacted to have more "detailed comments". Perhaps you didn't have your finger that close to the pulse of the issues and were blind sided as were many.

And then there is always the fact that the "some of us" can bring a legal challenge to this law, federal BS or "strategy". Then perhaps in 3 or 4 years a more reasonable "strategy" can be put into place. By that time ivory will definitely be in demand as people will be waiting in line for it (facetious).
