Gilbert Cue ?

I Have Recently Bought A Gilbert With For Points Not Sure About The Wood But No Veneers And A Solid Butt Sleeve With A White But Cap And A Linen Wrap With Two Shafts O And It Has Some Ring Work. Is It Worth Atleast 600.00 Stanless Steel Joint(IT WAS MADE FOR SCOTTY TOWNSEND IT HAS GILBERT SIGNED AND S. T. BESIDE IT )

i would say it is worth at least $600 if it is in very good condition and the shafts are full.

I remember last year it was said someone stole Scottys cue. It was a Gilbert.
 
it is not stolen the guy i am buying it from has had it for a over a year and when i was in mobile last weekend i showed it to scotty and he said that he did play with it

Where can I buy a Crystal Ball, I have always wanted one?:rolleyes: :D Now either you have seen the cue or you must have a Crystal ball.;)

Sorry I was not claiming yours to be the stolen one. I was just saying someone stole Scottys cue last year and it was a Gilbert. The person who took that cue must be crazy or didn't know any better. I pretty much grew up around Scotty in the local pool room here. From around the ages of 9 to 14 I got to watch him play a lot. Scottys a good guy but good luck on doing him any wrong. He will not stand for it.

well this cue came from a guy here in town who fell on hard times and my buddy got it from him so i do not think it is the same one. and i know you where down in mobile so did anyone match up after the tourney i jetted out after the second callcutta

I couldn't tell you because I left Saturday night after losing my first match by a freak accident. I was on 3 hours of sleep and couldn't fade it out. I didn't play so well. My fault as I haven't played really in 5 months. I did read that Scotty gave up the 7 to Brown and beat him. Other than what I read from there I couldn't tell anything else.
 
you shouldn't need a crystal ball to know that a 4 point Gilbert in very good condition with 2 13mm shafts is worth $600,but i definitely need one to know what kind of dog that is:confused: no offense meant if it is the family pet,but it is crazy looking.:D

I wish he was the family pet:p , however, he was the winner of the ugliest Dog contest for a couple years. Someone posted the picture as joke but I kinda liked it, and hell ugly dogs need to remembered too:D . I have no idea what breed or breeds he may have been, but I like him.:)

I thought that perhaps a Crystal Ball would've been provided, in the event that the camera has gone AWOL :) lol
