Gilbert Cues Question

Because Schick did it first.

KEN

Ok...
Why would a cuemaker tip a pin with Ivory? Does it affect the hit in any way?
Or is it strictly for cosmetic effect?

Guess I have to be very specific with the question.

Thanks in advance for the help, I appreciate it.

Hi Jon
You are so right. Welcome to AZ. I don't see that small amount of ivory changing anything. It looks cool. When I think of Mr. Schick and Mr. Gilbert, I think of people with class. Nice way to finish off a joint screw.

Thank you for the info.

Andy did this as a nod to his cue making hero, Bill, and only on certain show cues or special order requests.
