I'd be curious to hear how you transitioned from the world of full time gambling to being an entrepreneur (and actually ending up as what seems a "success" - from what I've read on here).

I meant for that to be addressed to "Oldhasbeen." I felt that by me saying "transitioning from the world of full time gamblers to a successful entrepreneur" would have clued everyone in, but apparently not.

The original subject of this thread was to get the members of AzBilliards (from all over the country) to play gin on-line with other members including me.
Yes, I will play you gin on-line, but it is not a top priority right now as we can play anytime. If you have a laptop, we can even play "In Person" at any Panera Bread store in our area (they all have WiFi). I just did that for a couple of hours yesterday and it was great. We were able to sit across from each other and play gin while having coffee & bagels. I would also have no problem playing you while we are both at home as I have no doubts of your ability or integrity to pay IF you were to lose.

If you have read any of the articles or spoken to anyone who has known me for very long, you should know I am "All About The Hustle & The Cash" - to quote Buddy Hall in the now famous St. Louie, Louie-OHB Poster.Gin is a game that takes time for "The Cream To Come To The Top" and (in my opinion) playing a few games (especially short games to 100 points) doesn’t mean squat. You may as well "Flip A Coin" which no one can ever say I've done. I HATE GAMBLING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now this brings us back to your challenge to play One-Pocket with a handicap of 1 ball & the breaks.
You have named the Game, Handicap and the price of a game - $200.
I have accepted. Lets Play!
As almost everyday finds me at The Break about 4 PM and until at least 10 PM, I will await you appearance & or reply.

#1. There was pool action last night. Where you hang out is not the only place around here that they gamble.

#2. Don't take offense but I don't feel comfortable playing cards with someone that is able to rate a card mechanics abilities as you did with Paul Speears. I am not embarrassed to admit that I don't know the first thing to look for but I do have a few friends that can make your head spin with a deck of cards.

#3. I don't have a laptop. I am a computer moron and just use mine for sport scores, ebay, and oh yeah, this site. So playing at a restaurant won't be possible.

#4. I will play as you suggested. Games to 200. That is fine. Two bills a game. I have never stiffed anyone in my life....I dare you to find someone that can say I did. I just like to gamble. If I win, I get paid...if I lose, I pay.

#5. I have said 3 times I will gladly play you one pocket when I am out playing pool. That means I have my cue stick in hand. A ball and the breaks. That is the spot. I am not being a smart ass, but I will let you know that you can't win. I have played players better than you with this spot and won or at least broke even. I robbed Big Jake with this spot, beat Cecil, and broke even with Jerry Watson & my good friend Lil Ricky. I also want to be sure that we are going to play rack your own because the balls have to be frozen.

#6. I cannot control your drinking so if you have already had your A-B product when we meet up, just don't get hit by a bus and we can play next time.

Watchez 1. I meant to say "Meaningful Action" unless you’re referring to HillBilly. 2. I never proposed that we play with real cards. I won't do that anymore as I have become spoiled w/ GameColony. 3. No laptop, No Problem. We can just play from our desktops at our home/offices. 4. We agree then. 200-points/10 knock, Regular gin. I also agree that you’re an honorable person to deal with. 5. Hey, that’s why we are going to play,. So as to find out who is the best at this particular game with this particular spot. You will be doing all the breaking so "Rack your own" doesn’t really apply but I have No Problem w/ you racking as long as the balls are frozen & straight. 6. I seldom give up on playing pool (& start imbibing), before 9 PM so maybe you could just give me a call and let me know when your coming.

Action @Gary's. Last night & probably tonight. I might be there tonight but I won't play pool there.....tables are much too loose. Unless you can come up with a spot on the bar table.

Gin, any week night after 10:30PM. Like I said tonight is good or just tell me when you can play & give me 1 or 2 days notice so I can make sure the women will know I won't be free that evening.

Watchez - Noonish is best for me to play Gin on-line & 4 PM is bets for me play pool at The Break. However as long as our hearts are is the right place - I'm sure we will get together.

If you and teacher are going to keep talking about women, at least post both of your photos as an Avatar - so all the women will surely understand that your both kidding. And I mean Kidding as in Hysterically Kidding.

EARLY IS NOT GOOD. I work everyday. I did not make a fortune back in the 70's in Detroit dumping backers so this is my calling in life. My desk, in a cube, 8.0 hours a day, 5 days a week. Saturday nights I babysit the drunks and wannabes of St Charles bartending so ALL DAY SATURDAY IS NOT GOOD.

WEEKDAYS ARE NOT GOOD FOR POOL. Weekday late evenings (10:30pm) ARE GOOD FOR GIN.

When I am out and I see you, if the table is tight and you have money and have not started drinking, we will play. A ball and the breaks, I rack, $200 a game. Where you hang out is 45 minutes from my house so if I make the trip, you are there, we will play. Realistically, OHB, you are at The Break everyday....how many times have you seen me there? It is not a normal trip for me, so please RELAX, hopefully, like I said earlier, you won't get hit by a bus or be taken to Heaven and we can play sometime.

I DONT SEE HOW I CAN MAKE THIS ANY CLEARER. I still don't understand why you start this thread with wanting to play someone Gin online and this has not happened between me and you all week. I am the only one to respond to your offer to play Gin & have gotten nothing but excuses or you wanting to play at some bread store.

Watchez - I haven't been broke since you were shitin' yellow. I have wagered more cash on pool (in my life) then You Ever Have OR Will. I have tried to explain why I want to play pool first but apparently it is too deep for you to understand. Your the one who proposed playing One Pocket, Not Me. All I have done is accepted you’re game & terms. What more is it going to take to get you to Stop Trying To Back Out Of An Offer - And Start Playing Instead of Barking? I am just trying to get with you when it is convenient. Don't worry about my drinking as it is just something I enjoy - I can quit drinking (or anything else) if it will get you to the table at the game you asked for.
I NEVER DUMPED ANYONE IN DETROIT! I just said I knew it was done. And "NO" you probably never have dumped anyone, as you have only been the DUMPEE instead.
And remember, you’re the one who responds to my post - not me to yours.
