for now forget about the $3 million that kevin owes us, as he said, no big deal,here is my big beef, why in gods name was the versus ipt deal never advertised? what was up with that? if there was a show called girls kissing girls, and was an hour long, and it aired on ch131 at 7pm saturdays how many people would watch it? 3 maybe 4 just by chance of flipping the remote, well, how many people actually tuned into the versus ipt shows? 3 maybe 4, by chance. hey, have promos billboards and promote the damn thing, my god, is that so freakin hard to do?

With a headline like yours, you apparently have a marketing talent for enticing people to read this thread. KT should hire you to help promote the IPT. :rolleyes: :D
 
Bernie your thread has given me a good idea for a pool league that would make real money. The tour would have 8 tables of action with 25 models and 5 guys as ref's and we will make sure to have the nicest racks we can find, better then the sardo. games would be 9 ball 8 ball and 2 ball, Sure the pool playing would be real bad, but thats because of the tight pockets.. I better stop:D

Anyway, I bet I could get more people to sign up for the streaming media of all nude pocket billiards. do you think it would be hard to find some good referees or announcers to volunteer?

I don't think you'd have much trouble finding "stand up" guys to ref,etc.:cool:
 
If he advertised pool, and then showed pool, he would get an audience of about 3 or 4.

If he advertised girls kissing girls, and then showed girls kissing girls, he would get an audience of about 15 million.

If he advertised girls kissing girls, and then showed pool, he would get an audience of about 15 million for about 5 seconds, then an audience of 3 or 4 for the remainder of the hour.

Slow down guys. Somehow girls kissing girls doesn't do it for me. Nothing against them, whatever turns you on and all that. But I prefer men and women when it comes to extracurricular activities. But hey, that's just me.

In my case, it's 15 million minus one.

If what you say is true, and more or less I do agree that there will be a low turnout of interested pool fans, then the idea of having a profitable pro tour is just one big pipe dream.

The only way it can be even partly successful is for there to be some generous benefactor such as the Seminole Tribe, or KT, who doesn't mind throwing money away. Otherwise it is just one big ring game. Players throw their money in the pot and the best one takes it. The losers soon get tired of losing and the winners would object if the TD took some of the money for himself.

Players do not want the TD or the pool room owner to make money.
