Giving thanks

Giving it just a few minutes of thought, of all the things I am thankful for, I am most thankful for having a wonderful wife. Next I am thankful for being in reasonably good health. Next, I guess, I am thankful for having a relatively low stress life with few serious worries. But somewhere down the list, several notches below the above mentioned items, but certainly not at the bottom, I am thankful for AZ Billiards forums. Even when I don't post anything, I check them several times a day, and when they are down for some reason, I experience withdrawal symptoms! So this is just a reminder to reflect on those things we are thankful for on this day of feasting and football.

I too am thankful for many things. A great wife and son, a God that I can worship freely without persecution, great friends and extended family. It is too easy to get caught up in what we DON'T have. Fortunately I try to stay pretty grounded and be content with the blessings in my life.

Happy Thanksgiving to all AZ'ers. Several of you I am proud to call a friend, many I have met and hope to see again and to all of the others, I would hope to meet in the not too distant future.

Blessings to all,

JBK

Well said my friend! It is way too easy for us to whine about what we do not have, instead of being thankful for what we have and don't deserve.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, and to all the AZers.

BTW...let's get together soon to brush on the ol' bump game...the DCC is just around the corner!

I have the best wife in the world that doesn't mind that I gamble for thousands of dollars in poker games. I have the most wonderful 7 month old daughter that doesn't wake daddy up in the middle of the night and thinks I'm the funniest guy in the world. I have a great job that pays well and is very low stress. I also have the best family that anyone could ask for and I get to see my parents on a daily basis. I couldn't ask for any better life or to be more happy and I am thankful for all of it. I have gotten to know a lot of cool people through pool and sincerely enjoy the interaction with each of you on the forum. I would like to wish everyone on AZ Billiards a Happy Thanksgiving.

I am soo thankful for family, friends, good food, and freedom. The freedom to get up and play. The freedom to go back to paradise ofter all the grandbabies and kids. Is this why I went on the road?
