Locktite gel, and 454 have both worked great for me. the only one I had problems with was a J&J that had a cheap ferrule material, I switched the ferrule and since it hasn't had a problem.
I use Lock-tite Gel with no problems. I have installed about 100 of these tips with not one pop-off.
If I have it overnight I like to use Gorilla Glue or 60 min epoxy.
I have been working with someone using this tip and had problems having the
tips flying off while breaking. I recommended taking the tip a little down so it's
not as high as when it comes from Atlas (or directly from Samsara).
In this way you reduce the momentum if the customer hits of center.
(Momentum=force X "arm length"). The hit would not change dramatically
where they still have the same control as with a full fat tip.
Just a thought.
