I won't buy one already drilled and tapped. Been there, done that, Fudge that, I do it myself.

You have no idea how they chucked-up on those pieces and how they drilled and tapped them.
Hairline cracks are not always visible.

I guarantee that will happen Dave. I recently said I'd never had a cue move on me and I just had one that moved during finishing and another one I just gave up on that I couldn't keep straight.

If I based my purchasing decisions on negative posts on AZ, there probably wouldn't be a place I would be able to buy anything. When I first started out, I bought everything from Cue Components, Chris Hightower and Atlas. I buy much less from them now, but I have never received anything but excellent customer service from all of them.

As for the double charging, I always hear people coplaining about from Cue Components or Atlas, it has never happened to me. Maybe my bank doesn't allow it or maybe I just haven't noticed.

I'm speaking from personal experiences. The wood was purchased by a friend and was not able to useut at all. Refund was denied. Chris is top notch and atlas fixed the double charging.
