I'm heading down to Bremerton Wa on Monday night and should be able to go to Stixx and Stones that night or any other place with a 9 foot table. Any AZrs in the area?

No, Im not looking for action, just want to play on 9 footer and it gets a little bit boring banging balls by yourself. I dont care what your pool playing ability is because I am far from a champion player. It wouldnt bother me if you cant run a table or if I ended up being the racker all night. Just let me know if you want to meet up.

Thanks
Paul

Paul, Stix's and Stones is a nice room and they have plenty of 9ft tables, Good Food, and Ice Cold beer. I own Full splice Billiards in Lakewood, Washington and have known the owner since my Army day's. Junior is a great guy and a very very good player, say hello for me when you see him.

Take care

Manwon,

About thirteen years ago I played in an all military tournament which had regional qualifiers at Ft. Lewis that I won. Well after I won, the Army guys were like, "your lucky Junior wasnt here", so I have been looking forward to actually see Junior play because for them to say that, Junior must play pretty damn good because I feel that Im not exactly a slacker.

Also, I have heard nothing but good things about your place and I hope everything is going well for the business. Hopefully my schedule will slow down some and I can make it down there so I can experience your place for myself.

Thank You
Paul

I play at Stixx N Stones every night. I'm good friends with Junior's son Marlon. It's a nice place to play and they take good care of their tables.

It shouldn't be hard finding someone there to play with. I'll be there shooting around if you can't find anyone.

Im_out,

Good to hear that they're are usually people there,,,,,hate going to a pool hall and its completely empty.

My plans have changed some,,,I probably wont be able to get there until between 8-9pm unless I can get out of work earlier than expected and the ferry is on time.

Thanks for the Kind Words Paul, and your right Junior is a well known throughout the Military as a good player. Back in 1995 me and Junior were stationed in South Korea, Junior was stationed at Seoul, and I was stationed up North. The recreation center in Seoul at that time had 8 - 4 1/2 by 9 Brunswick tables, during that time they set up an Open Tournament and invited the Korean National 9 Ball team. Myself, Junior and a number of other US Militray players signed up for the tournament, and Junior own it. If I remeber correctly there were around 40 players and Junior went through the entire feild undefeated, which surprised the shit out of the Korean Team.!!

Take care

Stixx & Stones

I will be there monday.Monday is BCA 8Ball night but I will be there soon afterwards.Stop in and we will play some just ask for Jerry.

J.R. will be at work most likely but often 1 of his sons is here.

Well, as for my visit to Stixx and Stones in Bremerton. I ended up showing up at around 7pm and not too many people in the place, which really didn't bother me. I was told by Allen(individual behind the counter) that Mondays is the BCA league night for the bars, but most the players show up later in the night. Well I got a rack of balls and decided to just see how bad I can miss on a 9 footer.

The Brunswicks play great and were very well kept, as a matter of fact the place was extremely clean and you can tell that the owner/employee's take pride in providing a quality product. Why do I say that? You know when you go to some places and they hand you a rack of balls, or you see them behind the counter and there's black marks all over them or they are just dirty as all get out and you say to yourself "are you kidding me". Well, when Allen gave me a set, I immediately noticed how clean they were and looking at all the other sets, they were the same way. Then walking to my table I noticed there just wasn't anything out of place on any table in the place, Racks all stowed, three pieces of chalk on each table, no fingerprints on the table, no chalk marks, just all around impressive. Also, this just didn't apply to the pool tables, the seating, tables, the lights, everything was just spot on.

Well I ended up hitting balls for three hours by myself and come to the realization the there weren't going to be any BCA league players coming in so I asked Allen to play some. We played for fun for another 1 1/2 hours and I called it a night. It was so nice not having to hit the ball 110, but then it showed me how bad my touch game has become,,,,I definitely need to work on getting rid of a "heavy hand".

Overall I am disappointed in not meeting any AZrs, but I did get to play on quality tables for 4 1/2 hours for a total of $20 and I just cant complain about that.

Junior, even though we never met, you own a very nice place that I would recommend to all, wish you the best of luck.

Thanks
Paul
