Going To Check Out A Pool Hall Tomorrow

i am out of the office the next couple of days, and i have enough time tomorrow when i am in the Vincennes area that i am going to swing by this bowling alley where they used to have some 9-foot tables. i was there several years ago, but nobody was playing, and nobody knew anything about any kind of regular game.

going to check it out again tomorrow...........:cool:

if u are really serious about actually playing anyone u will avoid vincennes at all cost, i'm sure there's probably some pool players there but i have never heard of any good players from that area or pool tourneys when i lived 1 county away, if u really want to play go here:

this is one of the best places to get games with strong players in the state of indiana and as far as getting good games WITHOUT having to gamble u CANNOT beat it period, they also have good food at good prices and u can play snooker for 50 cents a game, that's not even $1 per hour, u may call but their hours this time of year i believe are 6am - 2pm, its right off the north east side of the square and u cannot miss the court house so it is very ez to find

if im down that way i'm usually hanging out there during the middle of the day and 3/4 of the time u can find a game(in the middle of the summer), i was there a few months back and ended up playing a few games with an apa 9

way to go dcp, finally getting out and mixing it up some. Just find someone who will play you cheap sets and go to it. This is either going to make you love pool more or make you wanna quit lol

thanks for the advice! at this point in time i will pretty much take anything. i dont care whether i lose, win, choke, seem like a world-beater, just want to get some competition.

lol, wish apa7 would grow up. I dunno what the purpose of posting "bump" in every single one of dcp's threads, but he's making himself a much bigger pest than DCP ever was. Neg rep for spamming useless posts.

Hey! That's my home pool room. My friend Bill owns it. Maybe we could get some AZB'ers together there some Saturday to play.

i know u read my reply because u responded to it, did u think that i was joking? in a nice way i said it would be a waste of your time but i guess u cannot read, let alone read between the lines, all u had to do to find a freakin pool game was drive down the road not even 20 more miles but that would of been too simple wouldn't it?? u only created this post to make it look like u were trying to find an actual pool game when u went to some dive bowling alley in some town that has no pool players ever, let alone in the middle of the day

seriously, besides your OCD and your ADD do u have some other disorder that we should know about? cause in the future when i rip u a new a$$hole i don't wanna feel bad about it later on, u know if u actually ever went to a real pool hall with real pool players and pulled 1 tenth the bs u have pulled on this forum you'd end up with the external lobotomy that u so desperately need

did it ever occur to you that i didnt have time to drive another half hour today? did i ever say i wouldnt go to that poolroom in princeton? i had to be in vincennes today, and had enough time to swing by the place i was referring to. my uncle was with me so all i had time to do today was to check the place out.

and it seems to me when posters on here make threatening comments such as these that a moderator should step in and put a stop to it immediately. but then again, thats just the way i see things, i guess, dunno.

Of couse you did, but appearances can be everything. In this case you came on very strong and used words that convey violence, then blasted DCP for problems with his reading. The only problem is that he could not read your mind, which is likely a good thing. Anyway, if these DCP threads are so bad then just skip over them please.

What is an 'external lobotomy' and does it involve DCP having to be taken out to the car park to have it administered?:)
