Going to play in a pool tournament tonight

I am playing in my bar leauge end of the year tournament tonight.
I have decided to play with my lengendary Lucasi cue.
So last night I shaped and roughed up the tip and cleaned and burnished the shaft.
I also plan to shave,take a shower and wear clean underwear.
Does anyone else prepare like this?

Clip and clean your fingernails on your bridge hand. Be holdin' enuff Xanax. Get there early. Meditate . Pray..Play some really bad ass music on your way there. Do what you normally do to get rid of those, you know, pent up
tensions. Ask your wife's permission to stay out late. Clean your glasses. Trim your eyebrows. Dress in layers. Don't wear flip-flops. Don't eat Mexican food for lunch. Hydrate. If there's a bum outside , give him 5 bucks for luck.
Warm up with EASY shots or, warm up with HARD shots.
I've done it all.It doesn't matter . Just go and try to shoot good pool. You're
gonna win and everybody there knows it. So win.:yeah:

Some people say that you should not rough-up or reshape the tip before a tournament - because it will change how the tip has been playing the days prior. You might get extra spin you don't want with a freshly roughed tip, etc...

But, that's only some people; I tend to do a little tip roughing before each league session, so...
