Looks are deceiving , the casino is out in the middle of no where about dead smack in the middle of the 2 closest bridges across the river . There are no Louisville suburbs on the Indiana side of the river that I ever saw, just river bottom,, There is Elizabeth town and it isn't much . I wouldn't eat at the casino if they paid me . When they moved to the casino it became a money pit, and they have you captive out there on the island, all week. Unless you want to drive closer to 45 minutes one way, to get to Louisville. Have a great time.It looks like the casino is only 20 minutes from downtown Louisville and even closer to the Louisville suburbs in Indiana?
One thing I forgot to mention is all the imbeciles who pass a line of 6 or 8 cars doing 70 mph and their car or pickup truck won't go over 80, makes for an interesting meeting, when you are looking at them head on in your lane.... one thing you can bet the house on, is that they aren't letting off the gas and ducking back in. {as if anyone they passed would give them space} Luckily it usually only happens about every third trip to town though.
