Going to try CF, any suggestions?

OK, I'm gonna try a CF shaft. Been using wood for 53 years, first the Schon OEM's, then got a couple precat preds when they first came out and have been using the pred cat shafts now for some time.
I'd like a CF shaft that hits at least somewhat like wood meaning it doesn't have a metallic, ting or whatever when striking the CB or at least that sensation is subdued. I've been using Kamui super soft clear/blacks for some time and may step up to a medium tip of some sort.
I want to be in a mid/price range on this. Joint would be 5/16-14, prefer a pro taper. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Being as there doesn't appear to be vast deflection differences between the various manufacturers, I'd be inclined to try either a Rhino Must, or a Raven Pro, and save the extra $$.
Just my opinion.
