gold crown 1 refinish

just curious...what would be involved with refinishing a gold crown 1. It has new cloth and new rails, I am talking about refinishing evrything else. What do you think that might cost and how long would it take?

That's a hard question to answer, it depends on who does it, and how perfect you want it done, the price is going to vary a lot.

refinishing any GC is so easy its a joke. All woodwork stained or painted for no more than 450. A GC done over looks just like new and is a great value. Time would less than a week. I just dropped one off to be painted at an auto paint shop. OLD GC's you can buff all metal trim etc, its not like your restoring a Brilliant Novelty, go for it. Cal me if you have questions
