I have been searching for a pool table for a little while now and I came across a Gold Crown AK variant. It has a serial number k4554. Does anyone anything about these? What would this be worth?

AK denotes GC3. they are considered a tad under the 1/2/4 in terms of build but if set up right they play fine. they sold them from 76-97 so there's a bunch out there. need to check the rubber, they came with shit cushions from the factory. that one looks in good shape. search 'Gold Crown 3' on here for more info.

i still think the shiny piano-black 3 is one of the coolest tables ever made. bitch to keep clean but they look killer.

That seems like a lot of money for that table.

It's just a Gold Crown 3. Great table. As mentioned above, they had quality issues with their cushions for a few years during this era. If you can test the table in person and the cushions react well, you are good to go. If they are dead, you'll need to replace them.

The price does seem high also to me. $1500 is more like it, imo. (unless its 3k installed with new Simonis).

I finally finished with redoing the FrankenCrown I found. Mismatched rails, different size pedistals, no adjustable feet and bad cusions. With all of that plus stripping and finishing, I think it turned out really nice. Plays great. Oh, forgot to mention the mounting blocks for the aprins were all missing also. Lol.
