Gold Crown 7 Revealed

I played on the tables in Atlanta. They are great. All the players loved them. The owner loved them too, he's a big Brunswick fan. The players I talked to preferred them to the Diamonds they replaced. 1 pocket is played on them almost exclusively. (as was the two Diamonds they replaced).

I did run into 2 issues with the ballbox. Has anyone else run across these issues? I'll email Nick at BW with the pictures also.

The edges of the ballbox and rack slot are completely beat up. This is after only 1 month of being installed. Needs a hard rubber or plastic edge trim to survive and stay pretty.

Thanks. I just did to Nick Baron, he gave me his email at the expo this year. I know its a minor thing in the grand scheme of things, but staying pretty is important to the perceived quality. If the customer (room owner) sees all the ball boxes beat up in 2 months of use, he might not order any more.
 
I still itch for a GC7. Would swap it for the Diamond Professional. Main reason is esthetics. Nothing to do with how it breaks or banks or cooks. Biggest hold up is the set up. I have an out of town mechanic I'd wait for if he can commit.
Any reason not get one? Is it only available with a gully? How does the black rail surface hoid up...nick, scratches, etc. What is the availability?

Minor things mean a lot. They are not nit picks.
