"Gold Crown" Ball Polisher

Now just so all you people are aware, as I've said in the past, I like helping people out if possible, all depends on the person's approach to me as to how I take the request for help.

Now even though rexus31 was building a Diamond ball polisher in his own creation, when he called me to ask questions, I took no offense to his idea of copying my invention, why would I, I considered it a compliment to my accomplishments. My only thing was, he had to make it work right or it would be a waste of time, so he was a sponge for knowledge, and that he got. We've had many conversations now, and when I get over to his side of the mountains I'll even be working with him to get his GC4 set up, and dialed in right, pockets and all, but he's doing most of the work, while I drink coffee, because that's what HE wants, and again I have no objections to working with Charles to get him the best he can have.

So, the bottom line here is, if you grab my tail, step on me, kick me, you're going to get a snake bite from the other end, the business end! But if you're nice, and charm me, well then, I guess you can consider yourself a good snake charmer, and you won't get bitten😅🤣😂
I’m convinced you’re a cuddly care bear that lives inside the belly of a cobra that devoured you some time ago.

With a slight memory loss😅🤣😂i got Scott, that owns the ball polisher mixed up with Charles that owns the GC4 that I'm helping to rebuild and assemble, who lives in Vancouver, WA. Scott lives in California, even though I thought he lived somewhere back east😅 but I do remember him buying the GC1, restoring it, and having my buddy Steve come in and set it up😅 its all coming back to me now🤣

But I have talked to both Scott and Charles on the phone quite a few times, just on different subject's😃 in my defense, I talk to a lot of people from around the world quite often,

Details, details, details. With the Formica 6211 Elegant Rosewood discontinued (Formica used on Gold Crown I rails) I think I'm going with Arborite Burnished Rosewood. There wasn't much dark wood grain as on the rail but I think it's about as close as I'm going to get.

With the decision to use HPL on the top, I needed to come up with a trim bezel for the opening in the lid. I found a mixing bowl that was very close to the same diameter. My friend has a machine shop at his house and we were able to cut the lip off. It's a perfect fit.

It funny when something like the mixing bowl works out perfect.

Now put Brunswick score counters in it. 😉😆

I also messaged Jerimy Chambers via his website but he never responded to me. Maybe I’ll try Mark Gregory.

I’ll send a message to 2 different people I know in Michigan and see if they have anything.

What dimensions do you need again?

You have always been 100% with me. 💪

Awesome! The wheels are turning over here in West Texas…hmmm, maybe I could copy this with an Anniversary theme?
For sure. The side panels for the lid would be much easier but the challenge would be the rounded metal pieces for the corners.

Thanks for your help along the way! It's been invaluable!
