I'm looking for some nicer balls for my home table, was wondering if the older blue boxed centennial were same as the new Brunswick centennial. I have a cheap set of eBay now and have no idea what they are.

Hyatt used to make Centennials on behalf for Brunswick. When Hyatt folded, the contract went to Aramith.

Thanks for the info, I didn't know that much about them, if I can get a really good deal , say $100 for the older model in really good shape, thinks its worth if rather then spending $250 on new one. I already have the aramith pro cup cue ball

I have a vintage set in the box for $100 shipped. It has non matching cue ball Jesse 925.330.3429

As far as the quality between the two manufacturers , and tolerances. Where they the same.

Stick With The Red/Black Box Version

If you're going to get a set of Centennial Pool Balls, which admittedly are still made by Aramith, make sure to go with the current/newer version (Red & Black Box).

The colors are more vivid and the circle/opposing arrows are so clear that your aim point on the object balls becomes easier. IMO, you'll be sorry if you just settle for anything else.
