I'd appreciate anyone's suggestions on improving the cushion rebound on a Gold Crown III. New Brunswick superspeed cushions and Simonis 860 helped some, but the action off of the cushions is still no where near as lively as the GC I's, GC II's, or GC IV's in the local pool rooms. Two rail shots that are almost effortless on these tables require too hard of a hit on the GC III to get anywhere near the same results.
Is it possible the new cushions were dead from the factory? Would a different brand of rubber help? Artemis? Thanks for any help.
