Thinking same thing. Looks like they were dipped in salt water. Never seen GC casting corrosion this bad.Being as you got your answer, how did it happen?

That's my guess.Coca-Cola?
Stripper butt sweat?????
Powder coated castings posted here look pretty damn great, imo.If you cannot locate a replacement maybe it (or all 6) can be refinished.
Being as you got your answer, how did it happen?
A jury would sympathize with you.I guess stuff from the new bathroom floor seeped through the floor and onto the table. It's an old house but I never thought something like this might happen.
No other marks or is this why you've restarted the apple conversation?I had a new bathroom floor put in the old house. I didn't go down to the basement where the table is for 2-3 days after the guy was done in the bathroom. When I finally did head to the table I saw this. I guess stuff from the new bathroom floor seeped through the floor and onto the table. It's an old house but I never thought something like this might happen.
Let judge Judy put the screws to these hacksA jury would sympathize with you.
Here's 60+ years of degradationNo other marks or is this why you've restarted the apple conversation?
Those castings are absolutely things that degrade but yours certainly look like trauma.
