Gold Crowns/ US made vs Import

Johnny Archer doesn't have any complaints about his Gold Crown 5...player of the decade.Says its the best table he's ever played on.

I don't have a problem with the evolution changes of the Gold Crown line of pool tables. I think for the most part, with each new model they've gotten better and better. I'm only looking at the changes from a technicians point of view, in the sense that setting up a GC4 is much easier than setting up a GC1 and so on. Two bolts per ear on the pocket castings are better than one bolt threaded into an insert that breaks in half, GC3 vs GC4. If I had a choice between a GC1, 2, 3 or 4, and they were all the same price...I'd take the GC4. Most GC1's an 2's are wore out by now, the GC3's are getting that way too. I'd only own one of two kinds of tables for that matter, a newer Diamond would be my first choice, and if I couldn't get a Diamond, then a GC starting with the GC4 as my first choice, then working my way back to the GC3's, 2's and 1 for my last choice.
