Golden West Pool Table

I have a friend looking at a used one. I have no other information.
Are they a decent home table?

My Dad bought a new one years ago, it is a piece of furniture IMO. Looks nice, but can't say much more. This one is from around 2005 and the pockets are huge, the felt is slow, and the rails are inconsistent. However I normally play on Diamonds except for leagues.

Deep shelves in front of the pockets, have the pockets shimmed and the side pockets double shimmed and Simonis cloth and it plays pretty tuff! I love practicing on mine!
Mines was built early 90's and its 7 foot table. Wish I had the room for a 9 footer!

I've had two Golden West tables.... Before I had the last one recovered I added some supports. Table played great, still plays great

Buddy of mine has one from the late 70s my guess. We put new rails and 760 or 860 hr cant remember but it plays great.
