Goldenwest Billiards Mfg, Portland, OR.

Diamond is located in Indiana. Their products are serviced by some of the best people in the industry, as well as being engineered for pool players by pool players.

Hi Banikane,

I'm with Banks on this one. If I knew then what I know now, I would most definitely take the $3000 I dropped on a new Golden West table, and I would invest it into a good used Diamond table instead. When I bought my Golden West table, I was truly a brand new pool player. I let myself be charmed by the fact that the Golden West factory is 1 mile from my home, and I liked the idea of keeping my cash local. Seriously though, for 3 grand I actually expected to get what I paid for. (What a dope!)

Even if you're blessed enough to have a world class table mechanic like RealKingCobra come set up a Golden West table for you the way it's supposed to be set up.... it's still a Golden West table.

When I'm ready to get off the porch and run with the big dogs.... my next pool table will almost certainly be a Diamond. But only if I can get it in pink.

Cheers,
Katie

Brought forward for new readers...and less victims...hi Katie, hows your pool game progressing?

Hey handsome!!! My game is shaping up. Cue ball control and average runs are both noticable increasing. My biggest challenge of the moment is getting beyond the mental block that causes me to run the table to the last ball or 2 before I completely choke up and leave my opponent with an easy 1 or 2 ball run-out. Thanks to you I have a perfectly tuned playing surface to work these bugs out on. I think of you every time I step up to my table... seriously. Thank you for being so awesome!

Is that what "Made in America" really means anymore....to lie and cheat your customers....in order to make a buck! An apology would have been a good start...as that wouldn't have cost them a dime!

Glen

I know its an old post, but yes, i think it is exactly what made in amurica has meant for a while now. It's all about the profits and not the quality.
