Its a logarithmic scale.

buttload * 10 = 1 butt ton

butt ton * 10 = 1 assload

assload * 10 = 1 asston

asston * 10 = 1 shitload

So 1 fuckton = 10^3 shitloads = 10^ 7 buttloads

This needs to be the accepted standard by the American Cue Makers Association

Long past due to have some solid foundation of standardization in our industry. This will also help clarify the hit of a cue for an uninformed or confused retail buyer of cues.

The only real losers will be the people who don’t adopt and embrace this new standard of explanation.

Can anyone recommend a cue maker that will make a simple cue,no points,rings or inlays for around 400$?

I have been told that Chad Carter custom cue prices are very reasonable, and I know that he is a very good cue maker. Very underrated, I believe. Not sure that he is that cheap though, even for just a Merry Widow. I highly recommend his cues though, because they hit amazing, in my experience.

For $400? Possibly Joel Dadivas, from the Philippines, though he is one of the best cue makers from there, I believe.

Try one of Bob Freys sneakies. Or give Jim Baxter a buzz

Both are reasonable and imo play well

Bob is pretty flexible. You can choose pin size. Weight. Length and type of wood. He takes about 8 weeks for a simple sneaky. I like his work and he'll shoot the breeze on the phone if you get him started


Jim also has excellent customer service

A Frey sneaky will cost a lot more than $400, I believe. Not sure how much though.

I should have just said to get a Joss sneaky for around $350. Surely the best cue out there for under $400 (retail).

To me, at this point, the discussion is dead. Once the OP stated he/she/they was not a millionaire like us, then proceeds to post that they have $12k (just a guess) worth of SW cues it ceased all further discourse on the topic. If the OP had genuinely approached this as a thought experiment and not had several other threads of the same topic going, I might get behind it but really, it seems, we have just been feeding a…
