Very close...Judging by how sharply the 8 was cut, enough to go cross corner itself, I'd imagine that the 6 had to be hit first and carom into the 8 at the required angle...Wouldn't bet on it, but seems likely.
way bad
Playing banks. Cross corner on the 6.
The 6 has to be struck first for the shot to count.
That makes sense. It's impossible for the cue ball to go fast towards the end rail unless the eight (two?) is hit first. Bad bank.
Makes sense...I was thinking that hitting the 6 first with inside (left) english, draw, would send the 2 uptable, cross corner, at a similar path...but I didn't pay attention to the cue ball action....Time for me to retire from umping...It's impossible for the cue ball to go fast towards the end rail unless the eight (two?) is hit first. Bad bank.
Slo mo tells the story.Initial thot B4 reading further, good. On further review, bad.
Always talk about those beforehand.that's a spot where the opponent needs to step in before the shot, and explain how it can't go, or you have to say how you are going to make it.
after the shot to come up and say bad hit because one ball went that away instead of this away, usually is going to be a losing argument.
The cue ball tells the tale but thinking about it, I wonder if the 8 ball should have moved at all.
For those who might think the shot was good, try to describe the path of the cue ball... contacts and resulting direction and speed. For the bank to be good, the cue ball must hit the six first and on the nearer side (nearer to the camera).
