Just received my copy of "The Other Side Of The Road" two days ago and just finished it today. There were 217 pages but it was well written funny at times and I wish there was an other hundred pages to go.
Alf Taylor the author talks about some books he had purchased to help with the mental game when he was coming up. It just so happens that out of the three he mentioned I had read two of them. The books that I have also read are "The Power Of Positive Thinking" by Norman Vincent Peale and "Psyco-Cyber-netics" by Maxwell Maltz which I still own somewhere, it was a long time ago.
Anyway I really enjoyed the book Alfie writes well sort of brings you right into the room whatever room he's robbing (so to speak) somebody in at the time. I really liked how you got the Bicycle Willie moniker
