good stuff.. Match of Archers nightmares

How do you know what his motivations are to play in that tourney?

BTW the only people that don't have a "chance in hell" at that tourney are the ones who don't play in the event.

JMHO of course.

No im good. we are just exchanging thoughts.. You guys think im an inconsiderate *****, im fine with it. He has no chance in hell at that tourney, but I can see where he likes to blow money and shoot the shit with big name people.

You guys have your opinions, I have mine which I stated.

I wasnt saying the guy is HORRIBLE SHOOTER.. I said he doesnt BELONG there (still M.O.) and on a recorded stream video.

I'm a high C low B player at best. I mean I suck. However a local player named Russ Edwards who is a AA player has been spending a lot of time with me, for free I might add, showing me the game. I am going to one of the GSBT stops with him next month. I have no chance but I looking forward to going like a kid looks forward to Christmas presents. I hope they stream my match of me kicked my butt kicked.

Last year at a Turningstone event Jennifer Baretta, lost to Johnny Archer on the stream table she only won one game late in the set.

Bearsafety in your opinion did she belong there in that tourney and on a stream table?

By my count Bateman did twice as better as she did.

All i said was hey entertaining video here, nightmare match for Archer (which it was, he had horrible rolls and shot bad), and Bateman Has a horrible stroke(which he does) and was getting crazy rolls(which he was)

I wasnt saying the guy is HORRIBLE SHOOTER.. I said he doesnt BELONG there (still M.O.) and on a recorded stream video.

I have give that man a lot of credit. He stepped up and played a match against Johnny Archer on TV and won two games. How many of us can say that we did that?
I am sure my knees would have been wobbling if that was me there.

I love it that if a player isnt playing at an A or AA level on a stream they are horrible and cant play a lick. Sure the guy struggled with position and what not but liked mention earlier.. He's the one playing against Archer.. He is the one on a streamed table and he's the one that stepped up and play. Im pretty sure that he was a bit nervous and it carried over into his game. Or maybe he is just that bad. Honestly YOU shouldn't care or judge him.

People ask me if I would be scared to play on a streamed table and I always answer no.. I know for a fact that people are gonna rip the piss out of me and there is nothing you can do about it. I will step up and play anybody at anytime on any table in any tournament. What's the worst that could happen?? Learn something from a world beater???

i don't like some of your posts, but i love the shit out of this one. green rep coming your way, for what it's worth. great post JJ.

Good lord you guys are all so sappy.. I didnt say it wasnt entertaining! Dont you guys ever dog on your friends or get dogged on?! You all act like if I were to dog on you (joke around) you would react with a tear like I kicked your dog!

It was my bad way of saying why do people of this caliber attempt to play in a tournament like this. I Get now that you guys do it for the bragging rights.. but if this being streamed as bragging rights of your pool career, then maybe you should take up knitting. IMO-

my friends (especially team mates and some of the guys i shoot with) are brutal to me. and i'm worse to them. but i try to limit my abuse on strangers ability at the table since i'm not terribly good at this game. there are a few people who act like jack asses and deserve to get ripped so them i'll lay into even if they can beat me all day, but there aren't many that act that way.
if i had the cash there are a few tournaments i would enter just to say i was able to play on the same table as some of these guys. it's not about bragging. i'm a fan of a few players and just to be able to say i played in a match with them, even if all i did was rack, would be cool.
