GOOD TIMING in Pool … What Does It Mean?

I've always thought stroke timing has a big influence in how much spin you get on the ball. Would you agree with that? (And presumably that the smooth accelerating stroke gives the most spin?)
The only thing that matters for spin-to-speed ratio (the important thing about spin in pool) is where we hit the CB. Farther from center = greater spin-to-speed = greater spin effect.

However, timing can affect tip/ball placement accuracy, which would matter. RPMs by themselves are mostly irrelevant.
