Not sure how many of you have a XBox 360 or have kids that do, but you can download the YouTube app for it and watch matches on your television. Best part is that if you are subbed to uploaders like InsidePool you can actually log into the app and find new videos pretty easy.

Just thought I'd toss out a tip that just hit me yesterday. Normally I either watch on my laptop, or stream it from my laptop to my television when I could've been doing something better the whole time.

As a side note it took me about a half hour to type this. My dog is in the chair with me and any time my hand went to the keyboard a paw intervened to let me know that I wasn't done petting

You don't necessarily need a XBOX. My Samsung HD TV and Sony Blu-Ray player both have "app" capabilities; My parents just bought a new Vizio HD TV and it has app capabilities with a keyboard built into the remote!

Vizio is a Microsoft owned company, so you get a D-Pad and Xbox X,Y,B,A buttons :)

SUBSCRIBE TO: Inside Pool, POV Pool, and Big Truck, and you have most of it covered.

You can also stream just about any media file to your XBOX from the computer, all of my AccuStats videos are on my computer, just had to share out the directory they are in and the XBOX picks them up. Was just watching a TAR match on there last night to warm up for this weekend :)

I have two smart tvs, the smart thing is they get you to pay about 300 extra for the internet.

One year after suffering with crappy remote controls and halfass apps that torture your patients, my pea brain finally realized the solution.

I bought a new dell laptop at best buy for 275 bucks that had hdmi out, a wireless keyboard, and now I watch what ever I want on the tv without all the bullsheet.

Not to mention, I can relax in bed and switch inputs between matches to watch regular tv on the other hdmi output and back again without jumping through hoops.

And I have a laptop. Smart tvs are stupid, just like I was for buying 2 of them.

Nearly all the internet TV appliances nowadays can pick up Youtube or offer a Youtube app/channel. I bought a Roku box, because they offered a ustream channel. Great for watching streamed pool matches on my TV, and controlling it with a remote.

I watch youtube matches all the time on my xbox and it's great, but I've been thinking of getting a roku but don't know much about them. Can you use them to stream ppvs (like this weekend's upcoming TAR match) on your tv?

If your laptop has an Intel i3, i5 or i7 chip along with Intel WiDi you can stream it to your tv with Push2TV which actually up converts to HD.

Get a Google chrome cast device for $35. Plug into back of TV and cast YouTube videos from virtually any device. Best $35 I've spent in a long time :-)

Anyone that knows what "youtube" or "xbox" are should be shot

Are you for real? Wow must be pretty comfy under that rock.

Anyway this thread has inspired me to get a new HD tv I think and a new laptop. I was originally going to buy a smart tv, but based on what I've read here maybe I'll rethink that.

That ^ is a good device. There are also some basic Android HDMI sticks similar to the Google one that are a bit more flexible, basically turns the TV into a large tablet.

I put a guide up for converting DVDs to computer format files that can be streamed/watched on almost any device these days, had a PM asking about how to convert files and meant to do it for a while anyway.

Dumbest thing I've read on here in awhile, there is a lot of good matches on youtube. More than a billion people visit Youtube and there is 70 million people who own xboxes, that is a lot of dead bodies :(
