Goodbye to my pool hero and best friend, Dan Dillworth of Covington Georgia

Condolences...

Sorry to hear that your friend had a fatal heart attack at such an early age. My own father had one at 53 and my mother at 59. I understand the deep feeling of loss you speak of and hope everything will heal.
Remember that death is not exinguishing the light,
but putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.

My condolences are with you and especially his family...I have two young boys and couldn't imagine life without or them without me. You say that his cue used to be yours...ask his wife if you can start playing with it again as a memorial to him or hold a memorial tournament and play with his cue in it. This would be a very nice gesture and I think that would probably mean a lot to him...maybe you could play with it at DCC when you go, since you all were planning to make the trip together. Just a suggestion to remember your friend by and a very good way to show your respect.

RIP.
He died WAY too young.
In his honor, I'm gonna go down to my table and practice my banks.

God rest his soul.

RIP from Dan's old friends in kankakee,Il. Dan was one of the best in our area. Sadly missed by all. Lots of great memories as a person and player.

Deacon,

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved friend. You and his family are in my thoughts and prayers. Perhaps you can do as someone suggested and start an annual memorial tournament in his honor and some of the proceeds go back to his family. I am sure he would love it that you are watching out for his family.

Take care and just know that he is never truly gone with all the special memories you have of him.
