2' is a huge difference. It was probably 9+feet on that pool table.
His experience was with a billiard table, not a pool table, fyi.

dam...,
didn't know things were getting that bad, they don't even put pockets in them anymore,
even cut back on the 2-color process on the Gorina logo, ...still, nice touch
Letters, numbers, markings on/in the playing area give me a sense there's a game to play.

Is muellers.com still the go to on this? that's where I bought mine.
I have the 2000, going on 6 years, not a really a hard use, but used with what some would say is hard clean, seems to be fine.
It has been said, here, more than once,
'dam! that's fast', on a scratch.
I bought Basalt from Buffalo Billiards in Petaluma. Very helpful, gave me a 10% discount, so came to $207 for an 8 foot table. When I received the package it had been shipped by Muellers, so I am guessing that Muellers is the US distributor, and the others that sell it go through them to drop ship it.

I tried Tournament 2000 years ago, it was fine for a couple of weeks then slowed down considerably. Now this may not have been the fault of the cloth, I was living in a house by the ocean with high humidity.
